Annal Nayyar reports on BBC article School with £1.4m shortfall is not failing

An academy with a £1.4m shortfall is “not a failing school”, according to the head of its interim board. Douglas Tribe, head of a six person board brought in to replace the 18 person governing body of Blue Coat School in Coventry, admitted that the financial situation was “worse than anticipated” but says the board intends to put the school on “a sound financial footing.”.
