Annal Nayyar-  Capital Funding  Update

The DfE are providing around £820 million to fund new school places in local authorities (LAs) with high levels of basic need.

The money will fund 45 new schools, and permanent expansion of 333 schools, creating around 74,000 new school places. These are made up of 60,700 new primary places, around 8,000 new secondary places, around 2,700 new places in all-through schools and around 3,000 places in special schools
