The EFA have sent out the majority of local authority pro-formas. The pro-formas contain information supplied by your local authority as part of the new funding reform which will help calculate your allocation.

They have also sent information on pupil numbers and, for relevant academies, post-16 learner numbers and the latest position on high needs places.

They will begin issuing pre-16 2013/14 allocations to academies from the middle of February finalising them all, including post-16, by the end of March. These will not need the same level of review by academies as last year when we had the very complex funding methodology to deal with but there will be a short turn around to resolve any issues that may arise.

The February allocation will also include information for academies and Free Schools who have places for high needs students. This will include notification of the agreed numbers from their local authority.
