Pupil Premium 2012-13 latest information

EFA have now published the final Pupil Premium allocation tables for 2012-13. The tables and a revised conditions of grant document are available on the DfE website.

Since the indicative 2012-13 publication in December 2011, the changes made to the allocations are:

  • The      EFA are now using January 2012 school census pupil numbers rather than      January 2011 figures and updated looked after children numbers from the      March 2012 SSDA903 return.
  • The      Premium unit cost has risen for 2012-13 from £600 per pupil to £623.

The Service Premium has been extended to include those whose parents have died in action and those whose parents have left the Service since April 2011 for other reasons, including injury. These changes mean that an extra 6,000 pupils are now eligible for the Service Premium
